"A simple manger. A guiding star. A story that changed the world."
Bring warmth, culture, and sacred beauty into your home with this magnificent Handcrafted Metal Nativity Sculpture, skillfully fashioned by talented artisans in Haiti.
Rooted in the world-renowned Croix-des-Bouquets folk art tradition, each piece transforms a discarded 55-gallon steel oil drum into a breathtaking work of sustainable art. Local craftspeople burn away industrial residue, flatten the metal, and meticulously cut, hammer, and chisel every intricate detail—from the shining starburst and stable roof to the figures of the Holy Family, animals, and textured garments—using only simple hand tools. Finished with a natural metallic sheen and sealed with a protective clear coat, it makes a meaningful and striking holiday centerpiece or year-round display for any mantel, table, or wall.
Product Highlights:
Dimensions: Approximately ~15" (Subject to final measurement update)
Material: Upcycled 55-gallon steel oil drum
Craftsmanship: 100% handmade and hand-chiseled in Haiti
Display: Standing sculpture suitable for tabletops, mantels, or display shelves (clear-sealed for durability)
Symbolism: Represents faith, peace, hope, and the timeless holiday story
Because every piece is created entirely by hand from recycled materials, slight variations in texture and finish are natural, ensuring that your sculpture is a completely one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
